The Ardennes form the green heart of Belgium. Spread across the provinces of Luxembourg, Namur and Liège, they are home to vast deciduous forests, deep valleys and rivers such as the Ourthe, the Semois and the Lesse. A region where nature and tranquillity set the tone, without ever being far from a pleasant little town or a good restaurant.

Walkers, mountain bikers and kayakers have long known the Ardennes as their playground. But the region also attracts families looking for a spacious holiday home with an enclosed garden, couples after a romantic weekend by the fireplace, and groups searching for a large, comfortable house. Durbuy, La Roche-en-Ardenne and Spa are the classics, but the quieter corners of the Semois valley and the area around Saint-Hubert are well worth the detour.
