Our properties in Bouillon

Bouillon is a small town with a great past. The imposing castle of Godfrey of Bouillon, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Belgium, dominates the town's skyline. Below it, the Semois winds through a great meander, with steep slopes covered in broadleaf forest on either side. Bouillon lies at the southern tip of Luxembourg province, very close to the French border.

The area around Bouillon is pure nature. The forests are vast and dense, the hiking trails quiet and the viewpoints spectacular. From the Tombeau du Géant, one of the best-known panoramas in the Ardennes, you take in an enormous meander of the Semois. Kayaking on the river is a classic here, as is a visit to the falconry show at the castle.

Holiday homes in Bouillon are often tucked into the greenery: small houses on the slope with views over the Semois, renovated stone dwellings in the centre, or spacious cottages in the forests around the town. The region is popular with nature lovers, photographers and walkers looking for quiet.
