Our properties in the Semois Valley

The Semois is one of Belgium's most beautiful rivers. From the south of the province of Luxembourg it winds through deep, wooded valleys towards the French border. The slopes are steep, the water calm and the villages along the banks still breathe the atmosphere of times past. Bouillon, Alle-sur-Semois, Membre and Bohan are starting points for kayakers, walkers and anglers.

What makes the Semois Valley so special is the combination of unspoilt nature and a rich past. The valley was once known for its tobacco growing, and in some villages you still find drying barns and tobacco museums. The walking trails along the river offer a new panorama at every bend: rock faces, meanders and views over endless green.

Holiday homes in the Semois Valley are often built of natural stone, with thick walls and wooden beams.
