Bohan is the southernmost village in the Semois valley, right up against the French border and part of Vresse-sur-Semois. Here the Semois winds through a deep, green valley surrounded by wooded hills. It is a place you go on holiday to recharge: few crowds, plenty of nature and the murmur of the river. The Semois is ideal for kayaking, and from Bohan you paddle straight into its meanders. All around lie hiking and cycling paths through the forest, with viewpoints such as the Tombeau du Géant near Botassart and the panoramas around Rochehaut, a few minutes away by car. The region has its own history: the famous Semois tobacco was once grown here. In the nearby artists' village of Vresse-sur-Semois you will find galleries, crafts and friendly cafés.
