Looking for a place where architecture embraces nature? An intimate and small-scale hideaway where every detail is just right. Pure materials, authentic stories and endless views. Huis van Hout is a full-fledged, separate guest accommodation that forms part of an iconic architectural building (where the owner also lives). As soon as you step inside, your gaze is drawn outside. The enormous 5000 m² garden flows into the expansive landscape of the Haspengouw orchards, with even a vineyard and a 'viewing church' as unique landmarks within walking distance. After a day roaming through the orchards or simply getting lost in a good book, the wood-fired hot tub in the garden awaits, which you can book as an optional extra.

- Of course, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited, even on the terrace outside the house. You can only do this in the garden. The same applies to your own barbecue: a strict prohibition to use on the natural stone terrace (stains). - To protect this beautiful but fragile wooden floor, we use a strict shoe ban. Of course, you can put your shoes inside. - We also ask that you be very careful with the floor and clean up liquids immediately so that there is no permanent stain - Since we recycle the rainwater from the hot tub in our plant filter, it is strictly forbidden to add sunscreen (with nanoparticles), oils, flavors or anything else to the water.
