About this holiday home
Abacus House is in the historic centre of Ypres, around the corner from the Menin Gate and a short walk from the Market Square. The town house has four bedrooms on two floors, all with king-size beds, and sleeps seven. Each floor has a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, two of them with an adjoining dressing room. Downstairs there is a sitting room, a dining room, a conservatory and a reading and music room. The large, fully equipped kitchen opens straight onto the dining room, the conservatory and the inner garden. When the weather is good you sit outside in the garden, beneath the towers of Ypres. Wifi is free throughout the house, and the living room has a TV and a radio. The Cloth Hall, St Martin's Cathedral, the In Flanders Fields Museum and the Vauban ramparts are all within walking distance, as are shops, restaurants and cosy cafés. A baby cot and a high chair are available. For wheelchair users, the owner sets up a bed on the ground floor on request.

House rules
Abacus House is only rented to families and groups, solely for staying in. Commercial activities and subletting are not allowed. Parties are not allowed. Please avoid unnecessary noise out of respect for the neighbours, and keep quiet after 10 pm. Pets are not allowed, not even in the garden. Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the house. The beds are made up and bath and kitchen linen is provided: one linen set per registered guest, charged on top of the rental price. Please treat the house with care. Final cleaning by the owner is compulsory and charged separately; the cleaning tasks expected of the guest are listed in the rental conditions. Arrival from 4 pm. Agree the time of the key handover in advance and confirm it by phone 15 minutes before arrival, at the latest at 9 pm. Departure by 10 am at the latest. Let us know by phone or text message when you leave.
