Villa Alterbiezen

Villa Alterbiezen is a detached group house for 20 people in Alt-Hoeselt, near the Alden Biesen commandery. The house has five stars. It lies in a quiet, green spot on the edge of the woods, yet Bilzen, Tongeren and Maastricht are only 5 to 15 km away. There are seven bedrooms over three floors and four bathrooms, one of them with a whirlpool bath. The spacious living room has an open fireplace. The large kitchen has an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and American-style fridge, and the dining table seats all 20 guests. Bad weather is no problem: the covered chill room has a pool table and a table football. Outside there is a fully fenced garden with several terraces, a play area with a slide and swings, and a hot tub. In the covered cottage with its own bar, which can be closed off and heated, you can eat together after a charcoal barbecue. There is plenty of parking. Nearby, the 9 km Bronnenwandeling walk crosses the Vochtig Haspengouw, past old orchards and sunken lanes. Alden Biesen Castle, the Gallo-Roman Museum in Tongeren, the Bokrijk open-air museum, Plopsa Indoor Hasselt and Hoge Kempen National Park are a short drive away. Dogs are welcome on request.
