We were looking for a weekend away in the Ardennes with the dog, and normally I always end up on the big booking sites where you pay a fortune in reservation fees. Through vakantiewoningen-in-belgie.be we could simply contact the owner directly. No commission, no surprises afterwards. The site itself works very smoothly. You can filter on what you are actually looking for (for us: dogs welcome and a fenced garden) and you immediately see places that really meet that. Our booking request was answered within the day by the owner himself, which felt trustworthy straight away. You can tell there are real people behind these places, not an anonymous call centre.

We listed our holiday home VOSSENHOF in Anzegem as hosts on "Vakantiewoningen-in-België" and it went remarkably smoothly. Every question we had was answered by the managers almost immediately, and they did everything they could to present our holiday home as accurately and as clearly as possible on their websites. Great platform for finding a holiday home in Belgium. Well organised: you quickly see what's available per region and you book directly with the owner. No middleman, no extra costs. That's how we found a lovely place in the Ardennes for a weekend away.

I'm giving my opinion as an owner, and I was delighted with the service for getting my gîte "Tour de la Chapelle" online on the "Gîtes en Belgique" platform. They are very responsive and answer questions quickly. I can only encourage other owners to sign up on this platform.

We found a little holiday house here for a weekend away and we're really happy with it. The website may not be the most modern one haha, but it just works, and you find a lot of places there that I didn't come across on other sites. Contact with the owner was quick too, and everything was as described when we arrived. No hassle with booking. We had a lovely holiday anyway and I'd certainly take another look here next time 🙂

I already use this platform as a host. A clear and very user-friendly platform. Very smooth communication and support from the platform's manager. The platform launched recently, so I'll give it some time to develop so both sides can reap the benefits.

Excellent service, at least from the owner's point of view: everything is done to get your listing online easily and quickly. Unfortunately there are still too few holiday places available, so the site doesn't come up among the first results when you type keywords like "holiday rental on the Belgian coast" or "large gîte near Namur" into Google. But the more listings there are, the better it will work, so owners, don't hesitate to put your trust in them 😊
